How ironic is it that only now when I have quit smoking have I become the owner of THE cutest pink lighter in the entire history of cute pink things? I almost want a cigarette just to be able to pull out my cute flamey maker. (Like WHAM!)
But none of that! This whole not smoking and drinking thing will be the death of me (yet another irony)
I got invited to some Halloween party this weekend, not sure if I want to go or not because I will more likely than not be the only sober person in amist the sea of beautiful substance abuse.
Was it Plato or Socrates that said "Sober Party = Lame Party"
Plus i'd have to find a slutty halloween costume because it is a
halloween party afterall.
There's also the predictability of the whole thing to consider. We all know what is going to happen here.
BOOZE BOOZE BOOZE BOYS BOOZE
followed by a considerate amount of regret and shamee.
and that's only if the party is good.
There's only two reasons to even consider going and boys is one of them.
The other is I hate not going to parties that all my friends go to because later then reference it (for what seems like thousands of years) and I feel like i'm on the outside of the world's best inside joke, that is just soo hilarious that you don't even have to really be on the inside of the joke you just have to have been there.
I guess we'll just have to see how I feel on saturday!
In health related news I've been getting alot more sleep and drinking lots and lots of water and working out has been going swimmingly (although no swimming is involved) and I haven't had a cigarrette in two weeks. Crazy.
Pilates class tomorrow. Whoot.
Oh and I have a date friday? Ya don't say!
